My Finland bucket-list


I love bucket-lists, I do them forever vacation or trip, and of course I made one for Finland as well. Please let me know if I have forgotten anything you think I should do, eat or visit in Finland. I am open to new things, so if you have any recommendation, please tell me in the comment sections down below.

I grouped my undertakings into three categories, cities and regions I want to visit, thinks I want to do, and food I want to try.

TO EAT:

  • Valkosipuil (garlic soup)
  • Lohikeitto (salmon soup)
  • Riispuuro (Rice porridge)
  • Hernekeitto ja pannukakku (pea soup and pancakes)
  • Siskonmakkarakeitto (sausage soup
  • Lihapulla muusilla ja puolokkahillolla (meatballs with mash)
  • Carelina (pie with egg and butter)
  • Savulohi (warm smoked salmon)
  • Korvapuusti (cinnamon roll)
  • Mustikkapilrakka (blueberry pie)
  • Köyhöt Ritarit (Finnish French Toast)

 

We will see how much I manage to do 😉

    Rolling in the snow after sauna is also fun 😀 But I recommend you do it only with really soft snow – if there are any icy patches it scratches your skin and hurts when you warm up in the sauna!
